% 30.11.2017 A complaint was made on 25.05.2010 about alleged financial wrong doing apropos the bank account of the complainant Smt. Kanta Devi Mittal, who has since passed away, and an FIR bearing No.115/2012 dated 16.04.2012 was registered at Police Station Kalkaji, New Delhi, for the offences punishable under sections 420/468/471 IPC. The complaint is being pursued by her granddaughter, who claims a financial and hereditary interest in the aforesaid bank account.
The investigation has reached no conclusion despite a lapse of 5 1⁄2 years.
Mr. Avi Singh, the learned Standing Csounsel (Crl.) for the State submits that reports of the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) have been received on two documents and some reports are still awaited. He submits that a request will be made to the FSL to expedite the submission of the
reports and that the final report, in all probability would be filed by the end of January, 2018.
Let it be so done, failing which the ACP concerned shall file an affidavit explaining the delay, if any.
In view of the above no further orders are required to be passed. If the petitioner has any grievance apropos the delay in filing the report or otherwise, she would have the liberty to approach the Court again. The petition stands disposed off in the above terms. NAJMI WAZIRI, J.
