This writ petition has been preferred by the Petitioner under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief: "a) Direct the respondent no.2 to set aside the show cause notice dated 15.07.2016 and confirm the services of the petitioner with immediate effect along with promotion, increments and all consequential benefits." 4.

Mr. Rahul Shukla, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of Respondent No.2.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner, at the outset, draws the attention of the Court to an order dated 21.08.2024 passed in W.P.(C) 11490/2024 and submits that the Petitioner is similarly placed and same order be passed.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondent No.2 has no objection to this course of action and on instructions from Respondent No.2 submits that in terms of order dated 26.06.2024, passed by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, an appropriate order shall be passed by the Corporation within a period of 8 weeks from today.

Needless to state that a reasoned and speaking order shall be passed and communicated to the Petitioner within a week thereafter, leaving it open to the Petitioner to take recourse to appropriate remedies in law, if aggrieved.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of taking the assurance of Respondent No.2 on record. Pending application also stands disposed of.
