This petition has been filed by the petitioner praying therein that he be medically re-examined.

It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner had, on applications being invited, applied for the post of Constable (Tradesman) in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP). The petitioner qualified the Computer Based Test, however, was declared medically 'unfit' due to defective distant vision in both eyes. The petitioner applied for a Review Medical Examination, however, was again declared medically 'unfit‟ for the defect in distant vision in both eyes. The petitioner underwent thorough medical examination in two different Government Hospitals, namely, (i) Government DBK Hospital Jhunjhunu and (ii) Rajkiya Sambadh Chikitsalaya Varg, Churu, wherein his eyesight was declared as CV normal. petitioner, therefore, as stated hereinabove, prayed for a direction to the respondents to have his medical examination re-conducted. 3.

This Court vide its order dated 20.12.2023, in the peculiar facts of the case, directed the respondents to have the petitioner examined at the Research & Referral Hospital of the Army. It was further directed that in the Medical Board, a specialist shall examine the petitioner and report on his distant vision without correction. 4.

In compliance with the said direction, the petitioner has been examined at the Research & Referral Hospital of the Army, and the report of the Medical Board dated 05.02.2024 has been placed before this Court. In the report, it is opined that the petitioner has been declared medically 'unfit' on account of 'Sub-Standard Distant Visual Acuity'. In view of the above report, no further relief can be granted to the petitioner and nothing survives in the present petition. 5.

Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed.
