This hearing has been done through hybrid mode. 2.

The present petition had been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking inter alia issuance of an appropriate writ for directing the Central Registrar of Co-operative Societies (hereinafter "RCS") to re-conduct the elections to the post of Chairman of the Supreme Court Bar Association Multi-State Co-Operative Group Housing Society Ltd (hereinafter "Petitioner Society").

On 29th August, 2024 the matter was considered and after hearing the parties the writ petition was disposed of with following directions: "7.

Keeping in view the aforesaid and without prejudice to the rights and contentions of all the parties, this Court disposes of the writ petition with the following directions:

i. Respondent No.2 is directed to decide the petitioner's representations/ requisitions dated 03rd June, 2024 and 27th June, 2024 in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. ii. In the interim, Dr. Justice S Muralidhar is appointed as the Observer to the Board meetings and it is under his supervision that the Board shall take all decisions, including the election of an Interim Chairman.

iii. Dr. Justice S Muralidhar shall fix his own remuneration.

8. It is clarified that a meeting of the Board of Directors shall be held only after taking prior consent of Dr. Justice S Muralidhar.

9. The appointment of the Interim Chairman shall be subject to further decision/ order to be passed by the Arbitrator.

10. With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition stands disposed of."

Today, the present matter has been placed on an office note in view of the fact that Dr. Justice S. Muralidhar (Retired) who was appointed as an Observer vide order dated 29th August, 2024 has submitted a letter to the Registrar General that due to professional commitments, he is unable to continue as the Observer.

Under these circumstances, let notice be issued to all the counsels in this matter who may appear and make their submissions on the next date. 6.
