This application has been filed by the applicant under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (in short, 'Cr.P.C.') praying for grant of Anticipatory Bail in FIR No.488/2023 registered at Police Station: Jama Masjid, Delhi under Sections 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (in short, 'IPC') and under Sections 25/27/54/59 of the Arms Act, 1959 (in short 'Arms Act'). 2.

This Court, by its interim order dated 22.12.2023, had granted interim protection to the applicant, observing as under: "9. Court has perused the CCTV footage and prima facie it appears that there is merit in the stand of the Petitioner that he was making every effort to prevent the co-accused and the Complainant from quarrelling and was not participating in the same. The learned APP for the State, on instruction from the IO, submits that the applicant has joined in the investigation and his custody is not required.

In light of the above, the applicant-Arham Gulzar is granted Anticipatory Bail in FIR No.488/2023 registered at Police Station: Jama Masjid, Delhi under Sections 307/34 of the IPC and under Sections 25/27/54/59 of the Arms Act, subject to furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one local surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the IO/Arresting Officer/SHO concerned, and further subject to the following conditions: (i) that the applicant will join the investigation as and when directed, in writing;

(ii) that the applicant shall not leave the National Capital Territory of Delhi without intimating the IO/SHO concerned;

(iii) that the applicant shall not, directly or indirectly, try to contact/influence the complainant/victim or any other witness(s) or tamper with evidence of the case; and, (iv) that the applicant shall furnish his mobile phone/landline number and residential address to the IO/SHO concerned and shall keep his mobile/landline phones operational at all times during this period, and in the event of any The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
