The petitioner has approached this Court, under Article 226 of the Constitution, against a notice dated 02.08.2024 purporting to be a suomoto assessment order under Section 123D of the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957 ["the Act"], a show cause notice dated 13.08.2024, and a notice dated 23.08.2024 under section 156 and 144 of the Act. 2.
By an order dated 29.08.2024, the petitioner was granted liberty to submit necessary documents alongwith a proper representation for consideration of the suo-moto assessment, and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi ["MCD"] was directed to pass a further order thereafter. In addition, MCD was restrained from taking any coercive steps in the meantime.

representation has been considered and a revised assessment order dated 14.10.2024 has been served upon the petitioner. Ms. Sanjana Gupta, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the revised assessment order was served upon the petitioner only on 19.10.2024. She submits that the petitioner has some further grievance against the revised assessment order. Ms. Sunieta Ojha, learned counsel for MCD, submits that all the necessary documents have been considered, and if the petitioner remains aggrieved, she must now challenge the revised assessment order in accordance with law.

In view of the fact that MCD has now passed a revised assessment order, no further orders are required in this writ petition. 5.
The petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the revised assessment order dated 14.10.2024, in accordance with law. In order to enable her to so, the order restraining MCD from taking coercive steps will continue for a period of three weeks from today.
