CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE MANMOHAN

O R D E R

% 26.02.2016 Present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus to the respondents to comply with Section 9(b) of the Coal Mines (Special Provisions) Act, 2015.

Learned counsel for petitioner states that despite Section 16(2) of the said Act stipulating payment of compensation to the prior allottee, respondents have not paid the compensation towards expenses incurred by the petitioner on development of Rawanwara North Coal Block including the cost of geological survey report.

A perusal of the paper book reveals that the petitioner has made a number of representations dated 10th, 17th, 28th September, 2015 and 9th October, 2015. However, none of these representations have been disposed of till date.

Consequently, present writ petition and application are disposed of with a direction to respondents to dispose of the petitioner's aforesaid representations by way of a speaking order within eight weeks. MANMOHAN, J FEBRUARY 26, 2016 rn
