O R D E R

The present petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 04th September, 2023 passed in W.P.(C) 4010/2023.

The aforesaid writ petition had been disposed of by taking on record the statement of respondent that amount of ₹ 7,89,300/ - spent by the petitioner towards the expenses incurred for treatment during Covid-19, will be reimbursed to the petitioner.

The present contempt petition had been filed as the aforesaid statement was not honored by the respondent.

This Court notes that in order dated 02nd April, 2024, it had been recorded that the respondent had brought a cheque for payment to the petitioner in compliance of the aforesaid order. Thus, an amount of ₹ 5,89,300/- was paid to the petitioner on 02nd April, 2024. Today, learned counsel appearing for the respondent has duly handed over a cheque for the balance amount of ₹ 2,00,000/ -. The said amount has been duly accepted by the learned counsel for the petitioner on behalf of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition by this Court. The present contempt petition is disposed of, as having been satisfied.
