By way of present petition, the petitioners seeking quashing of FIR No. 098/2015 registered under Sections 498-A/34 IPC at P.S. Najafgarh, Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes. 2.
The present FIR is an outcome of a matrimonial dispute between the complainant/respondent No. 2 (wife) and petitioner No. 1 (husband), whereas petitioner Nos. 2 & 3 are the parents-in-law and petitioner No. 4 is the brother-in-law of the complainant, respectively. 3.
Learned APP for the State submits that in the present case, the petitioners are the only accused persons and respondent No. 2 is the only complainant/victim.

Learned counsels for the parties submit that after ironing out their differences, the parties have settled their disputes and are happily living together for almost the last two years.

Petitioners are present in Court and have been identified by their counsel as well as by the IO/SI Baleshwar, PS Najafgarh. Respondent No. 2, who is also present in Court, has been identified by the IO. Respondent No.2 states that she has been happily living with her husband ,i.e., petitioner No. 1 for almost the last two years and as of now, she has no complaint against her husband. She further states that she is giving this statement out of her own free will, volition and without any coercion. She also states that she has no objection if the present FIR and the consequent proceedings are quashed. 6.
Learned counsels for the parties submit that no other proceedings are pending between the parties.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements and undertaking made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and since no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the present criminal proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed.
