The instant writ petition has been filed with the following prayers: "a) To direct Respondent No.1 to immediately admit the victim (daughter of the petitioner) in their hospital and provide full medical treatment as per the Government of NCT order dated 25.08.2015;

b) To direct the Respondent No.1 to conduct detailed medical analysis of victim and do appropriate surgeries, artificial transplant, replenishing the nutrients and other require treatment to save the life of the victim as per their assessment;

The present case was taken up on 20.12.2023 on an urgent mentioning as the daughter of the Petitioner who is a victim of acid attack was in the dire need of medical aid and required immediate hospitalisation. It was stated that the daughter of the Petitioner should be admitted in Apollo Hospital for the reason that she has not been able to get proper treatment in other Government Hospitals. A reference was also made in this regard to an Order dated 11.09.2019 passed by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in W.P.(C) 9752/2019 in the case of "Hasmuddin Saifi vs. Indraprastha Apollo Hosipital through its Medical Superintendent & Ors." wherein the victim therein was directed to be admitted in the Apollo Hospital. 3.

In view of the fact that the Petitioner required immediate medical treatment, this Court on 20.12.2023 requested the G. B. Pant Hospital, GNCTD to admit the victim and give her adequate treatment and notice was issued in the writ petition.

Learned Counsel appearing for Respondent No.2/GNCTD states that pursuant to the Order dated 20.12.2023, the victim was admitted in the G. B. Pant Hospital and was given adequate treatment and has been discharged yesterday i.e., 02.01.2024.

Mr. Lalit Bhasin, learned Counsel appearing for Respondent No.1/Apollo Hospital, states that the incident took place seven year back and the victim taken treatment from two hospitals i.e., GTB Hospital, Delhi and G. B. Pant Hospital, Delhi. He states that purely on humanitarian grounds, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Without going into the legal intricacies of the case and in view of the fact that the Apollo Hospital is prepared to give treatment to the daughter of the Petitioner free of cost, the daughter of the Petitioner is directed to go to the Apollo Hospital for further treatment to be decided by the Doctors of Apollo Hospital.

As stated by Mr. Lalit Bhasin, learned Counsel appearing for Respondent No.1/Apollo Hospital, that all the expenses of treatment would be borne by the Apollo Hospital itself. It is made clear that in case the daughter of the Petitioner requires admission and if any surgery is required, the same shall also be done by the Apollo Hospital free of cost. 8.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of, along with pending application(s), if any.
