This is a petition filed under Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 6 months for concluding the arbitral proceedings and passing the final award.

It is stated that the evidence of the claimant's witnesses are over, however, the cross-examination of respondent's witnesses is taking some time.

Ms Sharma, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and states that she has no objection to the petition being allowed. 7.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
