This petition has been filed, under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of a Sole Arbitrator, who is in seisin of disputes between the parties arising out of a Memorandum of Understanding dated 30.08.2017. 2.

The mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal was extended by order dated 09.08.2023 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 205/2023, for a period of one year with effect from 01.09.2023. 3.

Mr. Sukhpreet Maan, learned counsel for the respondent, appears on advance notice, and states that the respondent has no objection to the relief sought.
