These are petitions filed under Section 14 and 15 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking substitution of the Sole Arbitrator to adjudicate upon the disputes between the parties. 2.

Ms. Khan, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that she will be satisfied in case the Sole Arbitrator is directed to expedite the proceedings as the petitioner is a Non Banking Finance Company and public money is involved.

Hence, the DIAC as well as the Sole Arbitrator is requested to kindly conclude the proceedings expeditiously and in any case not later than 6 months.
