In view thereof, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition.

Accordingly, the present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. However, the petitioner herein is at liberty to take appropriate steps as available to him, as per law, regarding any threats extended to him. 4.
