The petitioner was working as a Doctor with respondent No. 2Cantonment General Hospital. She first joined in April 2024, and her contract was subsequently extended until 10.03.2025. On 15.01.2025, the petitioner sought maternity leave of six months starting from 01.02.2025. Her grievance is that leave for the period beyond her contractual tenure has been declined.
