% 11.05.2016 The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No.144/2011 registered under Section 380 IPC at Police Station: Naraina, New Delhi.
The petition came up for hearing on 26.04.2013 when notice was issued in the petition returnable for 19.07.2013. On 19.07.2013, a request for adjournment was made on behalf of the petitioner and the matter was adjourned to 04.12.2013. On account of General Elections in Delhi on 04.12.2013, the matter was taken up on 05.12.2013 and it was renotified for 02.05.2014. On 02.05.2014, again at the request of learned counsel for the petitioner, the matter was adjourned to
16.09.2014. On 16.09.2014, as the charge sheet had not been filed in the matter, the court directed the concerned DCP to appear before the court on 17.10.2014.
On 17.10.2014, again at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the matter was adjourned to 20.02.2015. On 20.02.2015, on account of non availability of FSL report, the matter was adjourned to 10.07.2015. As the FSL report was still awaited on 10.07.2015, the matter was adjourned to 23.11.2015. On 23.11.2015, again at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the matter was adjourned to 20.01.2016. The same was the position on 20.01.2016 when again a request for adjournment was made on behalf of the petitioner and the matter was adjourned to 02.05.2016.
On 02.05.2016, none appeared for the petitioner and the matter was adjourned for today i.e.11.05.2016. Today also, despite the matter being called thrice and it is 3 P.M., there is no appearance on behalf of the petitioner. It seems that the petitioner is no more interested in prosecuting the matter.
Dismissed for non prosecution.
