This application has been filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (in short, 'Cr.P.C.') praying for the applicant to be released on bail in FIR No.351/2020 registered at Police Station: Mundka, Delhi for offence under Sections 302/506/120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code, and Sections25/27/54/59 of the Arms Act, 1959.

It is noticed that the prosecution has already examined 13 out of 29 witnesses that have been cited.

The learned APP submits that most of the remaining witnesses are formal in nature and in case the applicant admits them, their examination can be dispensed with.

At this stage, the learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial. Keeping in view the totality of the circumstances including the fact that the applicant has been in custody since 09.07.2020, the learned Trial Court is requested to expedite the trial and make endeavour to conclude the same within a period of 9 months from the first listing before it. In this process, any unreasonable request for an adjournment shall be refused by the learned Trial Court. 6.
The application is disposed of in the above terms. 7.
