Mr. Amit Kr Pandey and Mr. Anil Kr Mishra, Adv.
versus STATE OF NCT DELHI & ANR ..... Respondent Through:
Mr. Jamal Akhtar, Adv for Mr. Rahul Mehra, Standing Counsel, GNCTD
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIPIN SANGHI
O R D E R
% 30.03.2017 Mr. Akhtar has tendered in court the status report, which is taken on record. Respondent no.2 is present in court. This petition is premised on a settlement arrived at between the parties. The allegation against the petitioner is that they had cheated the complainant by withdrawing monies from his account by obtaining his debit card details. Mr. Akhtar points out from the status report that there are three other cases in which the petitioners are involved of similar nature. The petitioners seem to be serial offender and merely because they may have repaid the amounts to the complainant is no ground to quash the FIR in the present case. I am, therefore, not inclined to allow this petition.
The same is, accordingly, dismissed.
