O R D E R

The present proceedings are instituted on behalf of the petitioners seeking quashing of FIR No. 160/2013 registered under Sections 509/34 IPC at P.S. Burari ,Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes.

As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, the petitioners threatened and verbally abused respondent No.2.

Learned APP for the State, on instructions, submits that the petitioners are some of the accused persons and respondent No.2 is the complainant/victim in the present case. He, on further instructions, submits that charge-sheet has been filed in the present FIR. 4.

Learned counsels for the parties submit that the petitioners and respondent No. 2 have amicably settled their disputes vide Compromise The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Deed dated 09.05.2024, a copy of which has been placed on record. 5.

Petitioners and respondent No.2, who are present in Court, have been identified by their respective counsels as well as the I.O./SI Rajeev, P.S. Burari. Petitioners have shown remorse for their conduct and undertake not to repeat the same in future.

Respondent No. 2 states that she has entered into the settlement with the petitioners out of her own free will, volition and without any coercion. She further states that she has no objection if the present FIR and consequent proceedings are quashed.

It is informed that cross FIR No. 470/2013 registered under Sections 323/327/330/341/348/354/357/386/389/506/509/34/120B IPC and Sections 3(1)(VIII),(IX),(XII)(XV)/3(2),(I)(V),(VI) of SC&ST Act on behalf of the petitioner No.2 has also been quashed by this Court vide today's order passed in CRL.M.C. 4980/2024.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and considering that no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed qua the present petitioners.

With the above directions, the petition is disposed of alongwith pending application.
