The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to respondent nos. 1 and 2, to stop the unauthorized and illegal construction in the property bearing No. 40/1, Ground Floor, Shakti Nagar, Dhariwal Chowk, New Delhi, by respondent no. 3.

By way of the present petition, the petitioner has alleged that respondent no. 3 is unauthorizedly covering the open courtyard of the ground floor in the property in question.

Status Report dated 20th September, 2025 has been filed on behalf of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD"), relevant portions of which, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Perusal of the aforesaid Status Report shows that the aluminium sheet used for covering of the open courtyard at ground floor has already been removed by respondent no. 3. However, the piped frame still exists at the site.

Accordingly, respondent no. 3 shall remove the piped frame constructed over the open courtyard of the ground floor, in case, the same is not permissible to exist.

Accordingly, no further orders are required to be passed in the present writ petition. The same is accordingly, disposed of.
