Learned counsel for the parties state that the suit has been settled in mediation. A Settlement Agreement dated 16.04.2024 has also been placed on record. It is signed by the plaintiff through his constituted attorney, and by the defendant through its authorised signatory. The power of attorney, executed by the plaintiff, in favour of the signatory, has also been placed on record. The signatory is the attorney through whom the plaintiff has filed the present suit also. Similarly, the board resolution authorising the signatory on behalf of the defendant, to sign the Settlement Agreement, has also been placed on record. The Settlement Agreement is also signed by learned counsel on both sides and by the learned Mediator.

Learned counsel for both parties are present and seek a decree in terms of the Settlement Agreement.

Having regard to the above, there is no impediment to passing of a decree as sought. The suit is decreed in terms of the Settlement Agreement dated 16.04.2024, placed on record by Samadhan. 4.
The decree sheet be prepared accordingly.
The Settlement Agreement dated 16.04.2024, will form part of the decree. 5.
In view of Section 16A of the Court Fees Act, 1870, the Registry is directed to return the court fees to the plaintiffs.
