The present petition has been filed under Section 29A of the arbitration and conciliation Act, 1996 for an extension for the period of a further six months.

On the petition being filed, the Court had appointed Justice S. N. Kapoor, Retired Judge of this Court as an arbitrator on 25.02.2019. However, on account of the demise of Justice S. N. Kapoor, Retired Judge,` Ms. Justice Asha Menon, Retired Judge of this Court was appointed as sole arbitrator on 17.04.2023 and extended the time for making the award for 31.12.2023.
