Petitioner seeks quashing of case FIR No. 309/2025 of PS IGI Airport for offence under Section 25 of Arms Act.

Broadly speaking, the factual matrix set up by the accused/applicant is that when he was at the boarding gate of the airport, announcement of his name was carried out and he was shown a live cartridge, alleged to have been recovered from his baggage. Petitioner strongly denies having possessed that live cartridge.

After addressing partly, learned counsel for petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this petition so that petitioner may face trial in accordance with law.
