Petition under Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed seeking quashing of the Complaint Case bearing CT No. 7485/2018 whereby the Petitioner was summoned under Section 138 NI Act. 2.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that late Gurjeet Singh Johar, husband of the Petitioner was the main Director. His Company went into insolvency and the Petitioner never came to know about the pendency of the present Petition. Even though, she was summoned in the year 2018. 3.

Essentially, what is to be challenged is the Summoning Order of 2018, which the Petitioner is at liberty to challenge in accordance with the law.
