Petition under 528 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023/Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 has been filed by the Petitioners seeking quashing of FIR No. 0927/2024 registered under Sections 51/63/69 of the Copyright Act, 1957 at P.S. Subhash Place and all proceedings arising therefrom in terms of the Settlement Agreement dated 11.07.2025.

The representatives of the Petitioners and the Respondent No. 2 are appearing through VC and have been identified by their counsel and the IO. 3.
The parties have submitted that they have entered into the Settlement Agreement dated 11.07.2025 voluntarily and they submit that the said Settlement has been arrived at between the parties, without any pressure and coercion.

into the settlement on behalf of the Company. It is further submitted that the music owned by the Respondent No. 2 was being played at the restaurant of the Petitioners. Subsequently, they have purchased the rights in the music. 5.
The parties have endorsed the amicable settlement and accepted the terms thereof and submit that they shall remain bound by the terms of the settlement.

The parties have submitted that all the disputes have been amicably settled vide Settlement Agreement dated 11.07.2025 and thus, no fruitful purpose will be served in continuing with the FIR. 7.
In view of the above facts that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will and without any coercion, no useful purpose will be served in continuing with the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. Hence, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto.

Moreover, there is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question.

Accordingly, considering the totality of circumstances and the nature of the dispute, the FIR No. 0927/2024 dated 29.12.2024 registered under Sections 51/63/69 of the Copyright Act, 1957 at P.S. Subhash Place and all the consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. 10.
The Petition alongwith pending Applications, if any, stands disposed of.
