This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator by a period of 12 months.

Disputes having arisen between the parties in relation to Appointment Letter dated 18.10.2019, Petitioner filed a petition under Section 11(6) of 1996 Act before this Court being ARB.P. 462/2020 which was allowed on 18.01.2021 appointing a Sole Arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes between the parties. From time to time, mandate of the Arbitrator was extended and lastly vide order dated 27.01.2025 in O.M.P. (MISC.) 1/2025 upto 31.07.2025. It is stated in the petition that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of filing of evidence affidavits by the parties. 3.

Mr. Nikhil Singhvi, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the Respondent and on instructions, submits that Respondent has no objection to the extension of mandate of the Arbitrator.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the learned Arbitrator is extended by a period of 09 months from 01.08.2025. 6.
