The present petition filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 20231 (formerly Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 19732) seeks quashing of FIR No. 1309/2015 registered under Sections 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 18603 at P.S. New Ashok Nagar and all other proceedings emanating therefrom. 2.

Although the order was dictated in open Court, while finalizing the same in chamber, it is observed that there is a discrepancy between the accused persons named in the FIR and the Petitioner appearing before the Court.
