% 27.02.2017 Present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 26th August, 2016 passed in W.P.(C) No.7437/2016, wherein the respondent-EDMC undertook that the illegal deviation and unauthorised construction in the property bearing No.A-48, Jagdamba Colony, Tunda Nagar, Gali No.1, Johri Pur, Delhi, will be taken to its logical conclusion. In the petition it has been averred that despite the aforesaid undertaking, no action has been taken with respect to the unauthorised construction at the aforesaid property.

Mr.Amrit Pal Singh, Advocate, who appears on advance notice on behalf of respondent nos.1 & 2 states that the Appellate Tribunal, MCD has granted an interim stay on a petition being filed by the owners of the property in question.
