By way of present petition, the petitioners seek quashing of FIR No. 394/2020 registered under Sections 307/336/427/452/506/34 IPC & Section 25/27/54/59 Arms Act at Police Station Fatehpur Beri, Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes. 2.
As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, the petitioners intimidated and threatened the respondent No.2 over a property dispute by discharging pistol in the air and throwing bricks at him, damaging his car. 3.
Learned APP for the State, on instructions, submits that the petitioners are the only accused persons and respondent No. 2 is the only complainant/victim in the present case. He further submits that in the present case charge sheet has already been filed. He further states that since the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
State machinery has been put in use, the petitioners be saddled with heavy costs.

Learned counsel for the parties submits that the parties are relatives and the present FIR was registered due to misunderstanding and with the intervention of the elders, close relatives and well-wishers, the parties have amicably settled their disputes vide Settlement Deed dated 11.12.2023, a copy of which has been placed on record as Annexure P-4. In terms of the said settlement, respondent No. 2/complainant is now left with no claim or grievance against the petitioners.

The petitioners and respondent No. 2, who are present in the Court, are identified by their counsels as well as the Investigating Officer/SI Sachin Panwar, PS Fatehpur Beri, Delhi, who is present in the Court today. 6.
The petitioners have shown remorse for their conduct and they undertake not to repeat the same in future. Respondent No. 2, who is the grand-father of petitioner No. 3 Pankaj Tanwar, states that he has forgiven his grand-son and also states that he has entered into the aforementioned settlement agreement out of his own free will, volition and without any coercion. He further states that he has no objection if the present FIR and consequent proceedings are quashed.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that no other proceedings are pending between the parties.
The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and since no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed, subject to The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
payment of cost of Rs.50,000/- by petitioner No.3/Pankaj, with the Delhi State Legal Services Authority ('DSLSA') within a period of four weeks from today.

Proof evidencing receipt of deposit shall be filed with the Investigating Officer as well as in Court.

With the above directions, the petition is disposed of. 12.
In case proof of deposit of cost is not filed within two weeks, the matter be placed before the Court.
