These petitions have been filed for quashing of FIR No. 341/2016 PS Sultan Puri under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC basis settlement dated 06th October, 2023 arrived at between the parties with the facilitation of Delhi Mediation Centre, Rohini District Courts, which is on record of this Court. 2.

Petitioners and complainants in both these matters are present before this Court and duly identified by the IO and their respective counsels. Complainants (Pinki & Jyoti) in both these petitions state that they have no objection to the quashing of the said FIR considering payments as per the settlement have already been received. 4.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No. 341/2016 PS Sultan Puri under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 6.

Accordingly, the petitions are disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
