Exemption is granted subject to all just exceptions. 2.

The applicant(s) shall file legible and clearer copies of exempted documents, compliant with practice rules before the next date of hearing. 3.

This is a petition filed under Section 29A (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for a period of 1 year for concluding the arbitral proceedings and passing the final award.

It is stated that the delay in the arbitral proceedings has occurred due to technical transactions which are of very complex nature. 6.

Hence the present petition has been filed.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr Mishra, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and states that he has no objection to the petition being allowed. 9.

For the reasons noted above, I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. The petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 6 months from today. 10.

In the present case, the arbitration proceedings are pending since the year 2019. As last and final opportunity, a period of 6 months are granted to the learned arbitrator to conclude the arbitration proceedings and pass the final award.

The learned arbitrator is requested to conduct day to day hearing in the case, if so required.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
