% 28.04.2017 Present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of order dated 20th September, 2016 passed in W.P (C) No.2552/2016, wherein it was held that the acquisition proceedings with respect to petitioner's land bearing Khasra No.195(1-1) on the land of Village Shahbad Daulatpur, Delhi had lapsed. In the present petition, it has been averred that despite the aforesaid order, respondents on 02nd February, 2017 had started illegally digging petitioner's land, due to which petitioner's livelihood had been adversely affected.

Today, Mr.Dhanesh Relan, learned counsel for DDA states that digging was carried out in petitioner's land under a mistake. He expresses regret for the same.

Since learned counsel for the respondent-DDA has apologised without filing a reply-affidavit, the same is accepted and the present contempt petition is closed.
