CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE MANMOHAN
O R D E R
% 16.02.2017 Present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to correct their records pertaining to the validity of petitioner's driving licence and to accept the petitioner's application for consideration of issuance of permit under 2017 Scheme under which 10000 TSR/Auto Rickshaw Permits have to be issued. It has been averred in the petition that petitioner's online application dated 8th February, 2017 for issuance of fresh TSR permit under 2017 Scheme was declined with the remark that petitioner's driving licence had expired on 18th Janurary,2017. It is the petitioner's case that though his driving licence had expired on 18th January, 2017, yet the same was renewed on 24th January, 2017 till 23rd January, 2020.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states as the respondents have not updated their record with regard to petitioner's driving licence, he is not able to apply online for issuance of TSR permit. He further states that the last date for applying for TSR permit is dated 17th February, 2017.
Issue notice.
Mr.Peeyoosh Kalra, learned ASC accepts notice on behalf of respondents. The statement made by Mr.Kalra is accepted by this Court and the respondents are held bound by the same.
In view thereof, the learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the present writ petition and applications. They accordingly stand disposed of.
