The Petitioner asserts that she is the wife of Late Sh. Mohan Lal Arora, who was the owner of MIG Flat bearing No. B-11/33, Sector 18, Rohini, Delhi, allotted to him by Delhi Development Authority. 2.

After the demise of Sh. Mohan Lal Arora, a relinquishment deed dated 23rd July, 2021 was executed by one of his legal representatives in favour of another and the said document was presented for registration with Respondent No. 3 under Registration Slip No. 5359. 3.

The Petitioner urges that after submitting the original relinquishment deed to Respondent No. 3 - Sub Registrar VI-E, Libaspur, New Delhi, they received a notice dated 23rd July, 2021 in relation to an objection raised in respect to the said property. Thereafter, despite replying to the aforesaid notice through reply dated 9th August, 2021, the Petitioner did not receive The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. any response from Respondent No. 3. Hence, the Petitioner submitted a representation to them dated 1st May, 2024 requesting release of the relinquishment deed as early as possible. Aggrieved by such inaction, through the present writ petition, the Petitioner seeks directions to be issued to Respondent No. 3 to release/deliver the relinquishment deed in question. 4.

Considering the above, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to Respondent No. 3 to decide the Petitioner's representation dated 1st May, 2024 and take a final decision on the document presented by the Petitioner under Registration Slip No. 5359 on 23rd July, 2021, within a period of four weeks from today, in accordance with law. 5.

It is made clear that the Court has not commented upon the validity of the document or whether the same can be registered or not. All rights and contentions of the parties are left open.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of, along with pending application(s).
