This is a petition filed under Section 29A(4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 6 months.

It is stated that the matter is at the stage of final arguments and hence, the delay.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Barman, learned counsel, appearing on behalf of Mr. Tiwari learned counsel for the respondent, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

For the reasons noted above, I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. The petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 6 months from today. 6.

The period from 28.07.2025 till today stands regularised. 7.
