This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 12 months from 31.07.2025 to 31.07.2026. 2.
It is stated that the matter is at the stage of recording of evidence and due to the voluminous nature, it has taken some time. 3.
For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Jain, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed, but states that this should be the last and final opportunity.

The petition is allowed and as the last and final opportunity, the mandate of the arbitral tribunal is extended by 1 year (12 months) from 31.07.2025.
