Petition bearing No. CRL.M.C. 5536/2025 and Petition bearing No. CRL.M.C. 5510/2025 under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (hereinafter referred to as 'Cr.PC') now Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as 'B.N.S.S.') have been filed on behalf of the Petitioners, Mohd. Laeeq Ahmad & Ors. in CRL.M.C. 5536/2025 and the Petitioners, Mr. Danish & Ors. in CRL.M.C. 5510/2025, for quashing of cross-FIR Nos. 0179/2025 and 0178/2025 respectively dated 27.06.2025 under Section 110/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as 'B.N.S.') registered at Police Station Shaheen Bagh, Delhi and all the consequential proceedings emanating therefrom, in terms of the Compromise Deed dated 01.07.2025. 4.

On advance Notice, learned APP has appeared and accepted the Notice on behalf of the State.

As per the FIR, the Petitioners and the Respondent No. 2 are living in same locality. On 26.06.2025, the fight had taken place between both the parties regarding the issue of car parking at 40 Feet Road, Shaheen Bagh, New Delhi. Due to the said incident, both parties had heated arguments and hit the other with a danda and both have suffered injuries, which resulted in lodging criminal Complaints against each other. Both the parties submit that the said incident occurred due to misunderstanding, anger and heat of the moment and no criminal intent was involved from either side. On the Complaint of the Complainant, cross-FIR Nos. 0179/2025 and 0178/2025 dated 27.06.2025 under Section 110/3(5) of B.N.S., 2023, got registered at Police Station Shaheen Bagh, Delhi 8.
After intervention from family members, mutual friends and respectable members of the society, the Petitioners and the Respondent No. 2/Complainant have amicably settled all the disputes and differences between them and arrived at Settlement vide Compromise Deed dated 01.07.2025. In the Settlement, it was inter alia settled between the parties that both the parties shall not initiate or pursue any civil, criminal, financial or any other legal proceedings against each other or against the other persons named in the FIRs, in relation to the said incident. It was also settled that both the parties shall withdraw all such accusations between them. 9.
Today, the Respondent No. 2/Complainant in both the cross-FIRs, are present in the Court and identified by their respective counsel. The Complainants state that they have no objection if the said cross-FIRs are quashed.

Both the parties have entered into the Settlement voluntarily and without any fear and coercion and undertake to remain bound by the terms of the said Settlement.

Considering that it is a neighborhood fight in regard to the car parking and that they have settled the matter, the cross-FIR Nos. 0179/2025 and 0178/2025 dated 27.06.2025 under Section 110/3(5) of B.N.S., 2023, registered at Police Station Shaheen Bagh, Delhi and all the consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed, subject to deposit of cost of Rs.10,000/- each by the Petitioners in both the cases, with the Delhi High Court Advocates‟ Welfare Trust, within two days failing which the matters The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
be put up before the learned Registrar General for the recovery of the said cost.
