This Court vide order dated 20.08.2025 had directed the Director of All India Institute of Medical Science to constitute a Board of three experts in the relevant field to assess petitioners' disability and give an opinion on whether petitioners would be able to pursue medical course and work as a The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. In deference to the said direction, the Director of AIIMS constituted the Medical Board of four experts, which has given its report. The report has been received by the Registrar General of this Court, and the same is taken on record.

A perusal of the said report shows that both the petitioners were evaluated both clinically and audiologically through a battery of tests mentioned therein.

After reviewing the clinical evaluation and audiological investigations, the Board came to the following conclusions: "1. Based on PTA, the candidate Ms. Aditi has Binaural percentage of hearing disability of 66.5% (sixty six point five percent).
2. Based on PTA the candidate Mr. Dev Aneja has binaural percentage of hearing disability of 43.13% (forty three point one three percent)."

In view of the above conclusion, the respondents are directed to allow the petitioners to participate in the ensuing second round of NEET UG counselling under the PwBD category.

The petitions alongwith pending applications, are disposed of in the above terms.
