This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a further period of six months from 10.08.2025, for concluding the arbitral proceedings and passing the final Award. 2.

It is stated that due to the voluminous nature of the documents, the arbitration proceedings could not be concluded within the stipulated time. 3.

For the said reason, issue notice.

Mr Kacchar, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and states that he has no objection to the present petition being allowed.

I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. 6.

For the reasons noted above, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of six months from today. 7.
