By way of present writ petition, the petitioners seeks quashing of FIR bearing no. 0364/2022, registered at Police Station Fatehpur Beri, Delhi for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter 'IPC').

The petitioners and respondent no. 2 are present before this Court. They have been identified by their counsels and concerned Investigating Officer (IO) from Police Station Fatehpur Beri, Delhi. 3.

It is stated that both the parties have amicably settled the present matter vide Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) dated 19.05.2025, entered between them.

The learned APP for the State, on instructions from the concerned Investigating Officer, supports the claim of the learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners that petitioner Sanni Tanwar had taken him to the hospital, after the complainant was injured and petitioner Harish, as per investigation and statement of the complainant, present in Court today, was not even present at the spot. The additional statement of the complainant, recorded by the concerned Investigating Officer (IO), has been placed on record, vide which the complainant has stated that the present petitioners have no role in the alleged offence.

The complainant is also present before this Court, who reiterates his claim. It is also stated by respondent no. 2 that the entire dispute has been amicably settled between the parties and he has no objection, if the present FIR is quashed qua the present petitioners.

The FIR in this case was registered in the year 2022. The chargessheet has not yet even been filed against the accused, against whom the allegations remained to be investigated.

In view of the above fact that the parties have amicably resolved their differences of their own free will, without any coercion and no useful purpose will be served by continuing the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. 9.

In view of the above statement of the complainant, FIR bearing No. 0364/2022, registered at Police Station Fatehpur Beri, Delhi for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 307/34 of IPC and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed qua the present petitioners only.

In view of the above, the present petition stands disposed of. 11.
