This petition has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of time for passing the Arbitral Award.

It is the case of the petitioner that the pleadings in the present case were completed on 13th August, 2024 and the matter is at the stage of recording of evidence.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal will expire on 19th August, 2025.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submits that he has no objection for the extension prayed for.

5.

Accordingly, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of six (6) months, to be counted from 19th August, 2025. 6.

The petition stands disposed of.
