By the present petition, the petitioners seek quashing of FIR No. 151/2013 dated 13.05.2013, registered at Police Station Bhajan Pura, for offences punishable under Sections 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (IPC) and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 (DP Act).

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that false allegations have been made against the petitioners. 3.
He submits that Petitioner Nos. 1 and 2 are super senior citizens and have been unnecessarily implicated in the present case.

The chargesheet in the present case was filed way back in the year 2015. It appears that for some reason or the other, arguments on charge could not take place before the learned Trial Court.

Considering the inordinate delay and the fact that the investigation has since concluded which led to filing of the chargesheet, and the matter is now listed before the learned Trial Court for consideration for arguments on charge, this Court does not consider it apposite to entertain the present petition at this stage.

The petitioners are at liberty to take all arguments before the learned Trial Court.

Insofar as Petitioner Nos. 1 and 2 are concerned, they are at liberty to file an appropriate application seeking exemption and as and when any such application is filed, the learned Trial Court is expected to consider the same sympathetically keeping in view the age of the petitioners and the fact that they are not residents of Delhi.
