This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR no. 0036/2021 registered at PS Preet Vihar, Delhi under Sections 323/341/506/34 IPC on the basis of settlement arrived at between the parties dated 9th July, 2024 which is on record of this Court.

Petitioner nos.1-8 (petitioner no.8 is appearing through VC) and respondent no. 2 (complainant)are present in Court and are duly identified by IO and the respective counsels.

small dispute between the parties. Respondent no.2 confirms that he knows the petitioners and there is no objection to the quashing of the said FIR considering that it was inter se dispute which had arisen out between the parties.

The petitioners will collectively will pay a cost of Rs. 15,000/- to Delhi Police Welfare Fund within two weeks and affidavit of compliance may be filed in two weeks thereafter.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No. 36/2020 under Sections 323/341/506/34 IPC registered at PS Preet Vihar, Delhi and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 7.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
