This writ petition has been preferred on behalf of the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs: "1. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other writ thereby directing the respondents to consider the Petitioner as qualified and consider his candidature in the further stages of the appointment process of Respondent No. 1 for having a valid EWS Certificate for the years 202223.
2. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other writ thereby directing the respondents not to disqualify the candidature of the petitioner for the post of Assistant Professor in the Economics Department of Respondent No. 1 under the EWS category on account non supply of EWS category certificate for the years 2023-24."

Learned counsel for the Petitioner, on instructions, seeks to withdraw the present writ petition.
