This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 6 months from today for making and publishing the Arbitral Award.

It is stated that evidence is completed and the matter is listed for final arguments.

Mr. Sarang S Chowdhary, learned counsel appears on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 4.

I am satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown for the delay. 5.

For the said reasons, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 6 months from today for concluding the arbitration proceedings and making and publishing the Arbitral Award.
