These petitions under Section 29A(4) and 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 19961 for extension of the mandate of the arbitrator in seisin of the dispute between the parties. 4.

It is stated that the mandate of the learned arbitrator had expired on 31 August 2024.

The only objection raised by the learned Counsel for the respondent is that this is a second extension being granted. 6.

There is no bar to a mandate of the arbitral tribunal being extended at second time.

Accordingly, the mandate of the learned arbitrator stands extended by six months from 31 August 2024.
