The petitioner vide the present petition seeks the following prayers: "A. Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction restraining the Respondents, particularly Respondent No. 3, from harassing, summoning or coercing the Petitioner in relation to FIR No. 348/2025, PS Civil Lines, Delhi;

B. Direct the Respondent No.3 to cease from disseminating all defamatory and unverified statements regarding the Petitioner and the adopted minor child.

C. Direct Respondent No.2 to take action on the representation of the petitioner against Respondent No. 3 D. Protect the Petitioner against any unlawful arrest or detention in the present FIR.

E. At the very outset, the counsel for the petitioner, under instructions, seeks to withdraw prayers B, D & E.

Learned APP, appears on advance service of petition and he candidly submits that petitioner, if required to appear before the Investigating Officer, he will be given prior notice under Section 35 of the BNSS after proper verification of his role, if any.

In view of the aforesaid statement, petitioner's prayer to issue direction to not unnecessarily summon also does not survive adjudication in the present petition.

The petition is accordingly disposed of.
