By way of the present petition, the petitioner is seeking following prayers:

"...a) issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ/order/directions thereby directing the Respondent No. 1 and 2 provide appropriate protection to the lives and property of Petitioner and her family members also providing protection to Petitioner in filing of criminal case at Moradabad. b) to direct the Respondent No. 3 to 6 not interfere in the peaceful happy marriage life of the Petitioner and further to direct the Respondent No.3 to 6 not extending of threatening to the Petitioner and make attempt to her live..." Issue notice. The learned ASC accepts notice on behalf of State/respondent no. 1.

Brief facts of the case are that petitioner and respondent no. 3 herein had got married on 24.07.2020 according to Muslim Rites and Ceremonies. Thereafter, when the petitioner herein had entered the matriamonial home, she had witnessed acts of immorality, unethical behaviour and vulgar activities involving both male and female members. On several occasions, the respondent no. 6, the father-in-law of the petitioner had made sexually suggestive gestures and had inappropriate touched the petitioner's private parts without her consent. These advances were soon emulated by Mohsin, the elder brother-in-law of the petitioner who had begun exhibiting the similar predatory conduct. Upon resisting, the petitioner was silenced and her mobile phone was confiscated. It is stated that in case protection is not granted to the petitioner, respondent no. 3 to 6 may take harsh steps against her and harm her.

The learned ASC for the State, on instructions from the Investigating Officer (IO) concerned, submits that on the previous complaint filed by the petitioner herein, the FIR already stands registered and the chargesheet in this case will be filed shortly.

Heard the submissions on behalf of petitioner as well as the State. 8.

Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, and the fact that petitioner has prayed for protection of her life as she is apprehending threat from respondent no. 3 to 6, the petitioner is directed to provide her mobile number to the Investigating Officer and SHO. Similarly, the mobile numbers of concerned IO, SHO and beat constable be also shared with the petitioner.

The learned counsel for petitioner states that he is satisfied with the aforesaid arrangement.
