The petitioner, who was serving as a Constable/Driver in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and was dismissed from service on 13.10.2000, has approached this Court seeking the following reliefs:- "A) Issue a writ, order, directions, in the nature of certiorari thereby setting aside the order No. .p. viii15/2000-107-ec-2 dated 13.10.2000 passed by Commandant 107, Bn. RAF/CRPF, Gobindpura, Bhopal;

B) Issue a writ, order, directions, in the nature of certiorari thereby directing the respondents to reinstate the petitioner with full back wages alongwith consequential benefits. C) Pass any other or further order as may be deemed fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the cases in favour of the petitioner."

Learned counsel for the respondents, who appears on advance notice, submits that the petitioner had filed an exactly similar writ petition assailing the very same impugned order in 2023, which petition being W.P.(C) 12738/2023, was dismissed as withdrawn on 26.09.2023 without seeking any leave to file a fresh petition. She, therefore, contends that the present petition is not maintainable.

5. When faced with this situation, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the present petition.

6. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn.
