Petitioners are appearing in-person, who are both senior citizens. The petitions have been filed seeking grant of transit anticipatory bail to allow the petitioners to approach the jurisdictional court for seeking further relief. The APP for the State appears in these matters pursuant to the notice. 3.
The issue arises from matrimonial discord between the son of the petitioners Dr. Abhishek Kumar and the daughter-in-law Dr. Divyangi Pandey. They were married on 27th January, 2022. A complaint has been filed by the daughter-in-law in Agra.

On 24th November, 2023, the petitioners started receiving calls from the Mahila Thana, Agra and were told to reach the police station. 5.
Both the petitioners are qualified doctors and are ready to join the investigation. However, they apprehend arrest, due to the harassment that they had suffered and therefore moved these petitions. 6.
The complaint has apparently been filed under Section 498A IPC. It is pointed out that the son of the petitioners had been granted transit anticipatory bail for 45 days by this Court on 11th December, 2023, duly modified by order dated 21st December, 2023 in Bail Application No.4060/2023, which order is on record. Facts and circumstances in relation to the matters are noted in the said order.

Accordingly, considering that the petitioners are senior citizens and permanent residents of Delhi, and are qualified doctors, and the nature of the complaint is emanating from matrimonial discord, it is directed that the petitioners shall not be arrested for a period of 45 days to allow them to approach court of competent jurisdiction to seek remedies in accordance with law.

Petitions are disposed of with the aforesaid directions. 9.
